Recruiting Timetable
Fall Semester
July to August
- Attend the Annual Corporate Liaison Breakfast
- JA Staff and coordinators set volunteer goals
- Begin recruiting process.
- Determine best recruiting strategies.
- Host JA Volunteer Breakfast/Lunch at your company,

Have CEO pass out JA certificates
August thru October
- Junior Achievement Programs fall training session conducted at the JA office, and business sites. JA staff assigns volunteers (new and returning) to classes.
- Volunteers begin teaching.
- Evaluate strategies.
September to December
- Ongoing follow up with volunteers and communication of status with JA office.
November and December
- Begin promotion and recruiting for spring classes.
- Schedule presentations and contact those volunteers for spring semester that may have signed up earlier in the year.
- Recognize and celebrate spring volunteers.
- Evaluate effectiveness of recruiting strategies.
1st and 2nd week of December
- All fall semester JA programs end.
December
- Recognize and celebrate fall volunteers. Evaluate effectiveness of recruiting. Celebrate your success!
Spring Semester
December thru March
- Execute recruiting strategies
- All Junior Achievement Programs spring training sessions conducted.
- JA staff assigns volunteers (new and returning) to classes.
- Volunteers begin teaching.
February to May
Ongoing follow up with volunteers and communication of status with JA office.
Early to Mid-May
- All spring semester JA programs end.
Early June
- Begin recruiting for next year!
